Ezechiel “Zeke” Abatan is co-founder of 2IS. He is responsible for research management at 2IS, running the intelligence, audit and advisory services.
Before establishing 2IS, Ezechiel was notably Public Policy and Research Manager at the European Leagues, where he developed the knowledge-sharing and bespoke research platform of Europe’s leading domestic football organisers and convey their views to public authorities. Previously, he also worked as Senior Analyst/ Head of football at Sportcal, notably building the company’s football product and drafting events impact assessments for international sports federations, but also as Head of Research at the International Center for Sport Security Switzerland, and as International Development Officer for France’s second-largest regional Olympic Committee.
Ezechiel holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Grenoble’s Institute of Political Studies and another one in Economics of Sport from Grenoble University.
Henri de La Grandville
Henri de La Grandville is co-founder of 2IS. He runs the financial and legal matters of 2IS as well as product development and client relationships.
Prior to setting up 2IS, Henri was the Director of Sportcal’s Swiss office in Lausanne. He was in charge of managing relationships with international sports federations and the commercial development of the Asian market. Henri previously worked for four years as a Senior Researcher at Sportcal where he was a key contributor to several Major Events Guides, the Global Media Report and was quoted in the New York Times.
Henri holds a Master’s degree in Sports Law from the University of Neuchatel and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Geneva. He also worked as a Researcher for the World Economic Forum and contributed to the writing of the Global Competitiveness Report.
